Bio
Growing up in the country, with a musician father and a whole valley to explore, Eva’s love of music and stories was set at a young age. With a strong influence in Delta blues, finger picking and Jazz, Eva has developed a truely unique blend of old time feeling with soulful tunes. Influence draws from Mississippi John Hurt, Nina Simone to Jimi Hendrix and Fiona Apple.
Vocally stunning, paired with intricate finger picking and obscure lyrics, and with her new band, Eva is bringing a fresh element to the roots scene. Quirky Jazz, Sultry blues and a smooth twist of Reggae, The Eva McGowan Band have been impressing crowds where ever they go.
