"Never have I seen such a youthful group play with such energy and musicality. Quite simply, they have instantly become one of the area's best funk/jazz ensembles." -Ed Dufresne, The Barre Montpelier Times Argus - Barre-Montpelier Times Argus
"I really loved working with Evan Crandell and the Too Hot to Handle. From the first note I was impressed at their ability as musicians and song writers. Most importantly, the communication between them shows that they really listen to each other and love making music together. Anyone who hears and sees them will feel the same thing I did." -Alan Evans of Soulive - For Promotional Use Only

Evan Crandell and the Too Hot to Handle performs both original and adapted works in genres ranging from jazz to rock, funk to pop, and most everything in-between. Since it’s formation in 2007, the quintet has performed throughout Vermont, bringing their energetic musical stylings to stages ranging from the small cafes of Montpelier to those of widely attended music festivals such as the North East Kingdom Music Festival.
