Bio
Since their start in 2013, Even Gods Can Die has created their own meaningful contribution to the post-rock movement. One that no other band has succeeded to accomplish in the South Bay Area.
After a tumultuous road of ups and downs, starts and stops, EGCD released their first full album, Collapsing // Ascending, in June, 2015. Their fans, an eclectic and diverse group of folks devoted to the underground post-rock movement, received the band’s debut album with open arms and a whole lot of praise.
Local radio shows and Podcasts have even featured select tracks from the new album.
Band members Scott Thomas (drums), Craig Tally (guitar), Scott Rufsvold (guitar), and newest member Marston James (bass guitar) attribute their success to a shared love and passion for a universal sound that penetrates the souls of music lovers around the globe.
The EGCD crew couldn’t be more excited or humbled by the overwhelmingly positive response to Collapsing // Ascending.
The band is booking locations for a local tour and beyond over the coming months where they’ll likely showcase some new material… Freshly energized by new bassist, Marston James, the guys have been jamming and writing feverishly of late.
