Bio

EVENODDS is a San Francisco based rap group formed by rap artists M-A and D.E.O. M-A (born March 6, 1985), which stands for “Money Alwayz”, and D.E.O. (born February 28, 1985), which stands for D.oing E.verything O.fficial”, have been rapping together since middle school. However, they did not officially start recording tracks until their freshman year of high school.

Both M-A and D.E.O. started a relationship with music at a very early age. M-A was born into music due to his father being a musician and D.E.O. wrote his very 1st verse at the tender age of nine. With heavy musical influences from artists such as: San Quinn, RBL, Tupac, Bob Marley, Miles Davis, Run DMC, NWA, Charlie Parker, Marvin Gaye, Con Funkshun, OutKast, Snoop Dogg, Notorious B.I.G., Duke Ellington, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Jay-Z, Ice-T, Spice 1, Too Short and many others, they’ve credited their distinct sound to each other, street life, everything real, the Bay Area’s cultural influence and are proud to represent their own.

EVENODDS’ music can best be described as “fly gangsta s***” and “reality rap”. Both M-A and D.E.O. describe their music as real, authentic music, the kind that gives you food for thought and stays true to the original hip-hop form with style. EVENODDS arose from the gangsta rap movement of the late 1990s and keeps their music strictly street and in its rarest form.

Hailing from San Francisco Fillmore and Geneva Tower Projects, both M-A and D.E.O. formed a dynamic duo. M-A’s brother served as the neighborhood producer and linked the two together. They both discovered that they had a mutual ambition to become rappers.

The most important element about EVENODDS is that they display great entrepreneurialism and leadership. As CEOs/Owners of Official Bizness Entertainment, they both take music very seriously and have since recorded and produced for Damien Marley, Big Rich (Koch/Street Cred Music), Too Short (Up All Nite/Jive), San Quinn (SMC/Fontana), MOB Figaz, Dubee, PSD, Mac Mall, Star Studded, DJ Juice, DJ Mind Motion, DJ Kay Slay, Dem Hoodstarz and Mistah FAB.

EVENODDS emergence into the hip-hop scene has come at a crucial point in music history. Considered outcasts in the Bay Area because they’ve always marched to the beat of their own drum, EVENODDS are at the tipping point of their career. The music industry has been waiting for EVENODDS to emerge and soon they will be on the list with other influential artists in hip-hop and a group recognized for their individuality and artistic style.
