Eve of an End

Since forming in 2005, Eve of an End has formed a devoted local following. The band, a fusion of metal, punk, and rock, brings these varied styles together for a unique experience. Facing fierce competition in 94 Rock's Battle of the Bands back in 2010, the group's loyal fans helped them win an opening slot on that summer's local date of the Mayhem Festival. Since then, the band has continued to grow into a full-fledged metal powerhouse. Eve of an End recorded their forthcoming, self-released debut EP, Dawn of Rebellion, with Sid Garcia at Sight 16 Studios in Albuquerque. The band combines their varied influences into a heavy metal amalgam, showcasing their roots and thinking outside the box while still keeping up a heavy sound and pace.

After a few years of playing together, the original four-piece Eve of an End roster went through some re-shuffling when their original vocalist/ guitarist parted ways with the band at the end of 2009, and they recruited a new guitarist. Shortly thereafter, they recruited a new vocalist, who auditioned after coming across the band's call for a new frontman on their website. Each member has played in various local bands throughout the years, including Sanctifyre and Truth in Lies, and insists that their past experiences with other units helped them to quickly find their sound. Eve of an End is: James Fish (vocals), Frank Romero (guitar), Kenny Davis (guitar), Jeff Niemiec (bass), and Justin Cavis (drums).
