Bio

Camee Burdin is a true soul vocalist who has the talent that penetrates your very core. She is a senior at Greenville College, majoring in Christian Contemporary Music with a triple emphasis in Studio Recording, Worship Arts, and Vocal Performance. Camee grew up in Elkhart, Indiana but then moved to Lebanon, Missouri with her family. When she is not singing (which is hardly ever) she enjoys writing lyrics, mentoring the local youth in Highland, Illinois, creating miscellaneous crafts, and practicing as an "uncertified" beautician. Her bouncy, encouraging nature always keeps the group on their toes.

Ana Lena Copeland has fingers of a pro, with the ability to truly make her guitar sing. She comes from a unique background, the oldest child in a missionary family from Ethiopia. Her parents now live in St. Paul, Minnesota with her four siblings. Ana Lena is a junior at GC, majoring in Studio Recording. She has been singing since she was a little girl, and played guitar since her young teenage years. Her long-time commitment to music shows through her guitar talent and low sultry voice. Besides writing music Ana Lena also enjoys playing volleyball, participating in the church youth group, painting, drawing, and listening to music. Her very dry sense of humor adds a needed element to the group.

Jake Augenstein is the only gentleman of the group, and the youngest member of EverAsh; yet he definitely holds his own. With almost 7 years of experience as a player, he looks up to Victor Wooten, Stuart Hamm, and Norm Stockton. Though quiet and calm, Jake takes time and energy to understand the music and put everything he has into it. Jake is a rocker boy who enjoys many different types of music, including everything from Mozart and Lizst to Crazy Frog. He attends GC as a freshmen, majoring in Christian Contemporary Music. When he is finished with college Jake intends to play on stage or make his career as studio musician.

Kayla Spangler is the farm girl of the bunch. She grew up showing cattle, rabbits, and all sorts of other animals. She also comes from a very musical background. As of now, she is finishing up her senior year at GC as a Music Education major. Kayla has played keys for almost 14 years, along with playing flute and singing. In her free time (haha... what free time?) she enjoys watercolor painting, reading, working as a youth pastor intern at Faith Baptist Church, and spending time with her friends. She has a habit of breaking glass objects that her roommates own, but also knows how to make people smile.
