Everett

Hailing from Canton, Ohio, Everett is comprised of Bryan Fouse (vocals, guitars, and piano), Elias Mullane (bass guitar), Chance Ring (drums and percussion), and Ron Robinson Jr. (vocals, guitars, and piano). Friend, Tyler Rippel (guitars, keys) joined as an auxiliary musician recently. Formed in 2003, Everett, has continued to write, record, and perform in the Northeast Ohio area.

Everett has performed with musical acts such as Copeland, The Juliana Theory, The Redwalls, Marjorie Fair, Bayside, Koufax, Joy Electric, Bleach, Cool Hand Luke, The Beautiful Mistake, Liars Academy, Red Wanting Blue, The Lonely Hearts, Blush, Son Ambulance, Old Canes and many more. The band has played a variety of venues ranging from bars, clubs, coffee houses, outdoor festivals, and large scale clubs/ theaters such as the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. Everett's sound can best be described as Indie-Alt-Rock with a Brit-Pop flair. Inspired by an eclectic catalog of influences both imported and domestic, Everett combines melodic vocals and piano, atmospheric guitars and a pulsing, innovative rhythm section to create a dynamic listening experience.

The captivating song arrangements and the band's magnetic personality make Everett a delightful live experience. The band's love of music and performing is evident in their live show where the guys are often seen smiling and conversing with one another throughout their set. This professional yet relaxed, intimate atmosphere draws the audience in and leaves them with the feeling that they were part of an interactive concert experience.

Everett's first recording, the Variations for Strings EP was released in 2003. The band then began writing and recording songs for a full length record throughout 2004 and into 2005 working with friend and engineer Casey Parkin. An EP titled "Translation Sampler" was released in 2004 and featured early versions of songs that would soon blossom into several of the tracks found on "Rough & Tumble", their first full length record. Everett teamed up with David Seymour and Derek Studt in May of 2005 to record "Rough & Tumble". The CD is now available for preview at myspace.com/everettmusic and available for purchase through Everett's official web site www.everettmusic.com. "Rough & Tumble" will be available for purchase through iTunes in the near future. The band is currently making plans to hit the road in support of the new record.

Everett and their new record “Rough & Tumble” have already been embraced with open arms by Akron/ Canton/ Cleveland area radio stations. 98.1 FM WKDD and The Summit 91.3 FM have already aired tracks from Everett’s first full length release. Q 92.5 FM has aired the song “Rush” from Everett’s first release multiple times over the past two years.
Everett has been interviewed by The Alliance Review of Alliance, Ohio for an entertainment section cover article in which they were noted as being “well received by.. Chuck Taylor-wearing-twenty-somethings, evidenced by toe-tapping, head bobbing and comments of appreciation..”, a common sight at Everett concerts. The band has also been interviewed by Kent State University’s The Kent Stater for a pop-arts section feature article. Seth Roy, a writer for the University paper stated that “Everett has a certain chemistry with each other that makes them easy to watch as well as listen to.” Erika Kreider of the Kent Stater wrote later of another Everett concert experience that “Tolls” (one of Everett’s songs) had me in a musical trance. Even though I wasn’t right by the stage, my heart was still pounding along with the music, and my jeans felt as if they were swaying with the sound coming from the speakers.”
