Bio

David W. Andrews (singer/songwriter) and brother B.G. Andrews (bass, acoustic guitars) came from a musically inspired family. The pair emerged later as the areas premiere musicians and continued to play independent of one another with various musical groups and theatrical organizations. Soon thereafter it became evident that David’s unusual blend of range, sound and perfectionism would classify him as an extraordinary vocalist in the aftermath of singers like Jon Bon Jovi and Steve Perry. David became an inspired songwriter, composing a dynamic array of tunes. B.G. went off and expanded his skills as a member of the acclaimed global group "Up With People", later touring as the lead guitarist and advancing him in music and sound. After he graduated from "Full Sail School for the Recording Arts", he began touring in an audio capacity with the likes of Metallica, Bob Dylan, Phil Lesh, Garbage and others. The two began their long-standing friendship with the shy guitarist Kevin Medvecky and his big brother Jeff (drums/percussion) during their teen years with a local youth group. Kev’s guitar sounds eventually blended with his unique storytelling abilities to produce songs that even the most untrained listeners have latched on to. Jeff began playing drums in 1986 where he developed his chops studying the likes of Neil Peart, Terry Bozio and others. His true sense for dynamics, knowledge of rhythms, timing and fills lend themselves to his natural instinct for playing. Jeff’s stage presence makes EdG’s live show really fun to watch. “This perfectly dynamic group with all the makings of such superstars as U2, Matchbox 20, and Radiohead will attract audiences of many genres.” The quartet began playing together on and off in 1991 working on each other’s music. With three songwriters, multi-instrumental ability, and dead-on harmonies the material gelled into a sound evident of major talent, marketability, radio friendly hits and a long list of material constantly growing.
