Bio

With roots in the Canadian old-time fiddle tradition, Everything Fitz has brought their unique stage show to audiences across North America. Featuring the high-energy fiddling and step dancing of four of Canada's finest young musicians, this family act combines a variety of musical styles- everything from Celtic, bluegrass, western swing, old-time jigs and reels, novelty tunes and choreographed step dance routines. This unique act has delighted audiences across the country- from their St. Patrick's Day show at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas to the Festival of American Music in Branson Missouri, Everything Fitz presents a well-polished and unforgettable musical experience.

Julie, Kerry, and Tom are all champion fiddlers and provide 3-part fiddle harmonies as well as solo improvisations on fiddle and mandolin. Additional instrumentation includes their brother Pat on percussion along with parents Pam and Paddy providing accompaniment on the keyboard and bass guitar. An audience favorite is the award- winning step dancing routines performed by all four siblings.

In 2005, Everything Fitz was the opening act for Natalie McMaster at the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsille ON. In 2006, they performed over 50 concerts in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta as part of Performing Arts Concert Series. During the summer of 2007, the group entertainment at state fairs in Wyoming and Idaho.
In 2008, they begin their Northwestern U.S. concert tour with performances in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Nevada. Everything Fitz was the 2005 recipient of the "Best Showcase Act" award presented by Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions. Julie was named the 2004 and 2006 Junior Canadian Fiddle Champion at the prestigious Canadian Championship held in Shelburne ON. All four performers have received numerous awards in both fiddle and stepdance.

These young musicians have been influenced by a number of artists over the years and have had the honour of performing with some their favorites including Natalie McMaster, the Leahy family, Darol Anger, Mark O'Connor, Tashina and Tristan Clarridge.
