While the name, Eve's Alibi, provokes much debate over its origin, anyone who's heard them knows exactly what this band is all about.....four hard working lads who simply love playing in a rock'n'roll band.
Conceived in Dublin's Foggy Dew bar in late December 2004, Eve's Alibi has evolved exponentially in such a short period of time, managing in months what many bands take years to achieve. They played their first gig in April 2005 in Voodoo Lounge and have since played Eamonn Doran's, The Sugar Club, The Black Box Galway, Temple Bar Music Centre and Vicar Street. How?
Simple......great songs and a great live show. What more do you need? The songs are a unique mix of power, rhythm and memorable melodies, combined with a ballsy 110% attitude that makes for a truly rockin' live show!
Eve's Alibi have just finished recording their 3 song demo. "Festival Fit", "New Friend" and "It's Up to You" were all recorded and mixed by the band themselves in their city centre studio.
