Bio
Evil Genius? hail from Kalamazoo, MI, and we have been in our current line-up for about a year. Ken Wright (bass) and Mike Johnson (vocals and guitar) have been between drummers a few times since 2000 and have been in and out of different bands separately. Our current formation has been playing around Kalamazoo and has submitted songs for consideration to WZUU--92.5 for it's local rock contest, and we have also submitted music for compilation cds. We play rock. That is what it is. We could give our music a fancy name with all kinds of forward slashes between genres, but we won't.
Our influences include Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Kiss, Queens of the Stone Age, and Tom Waits, among many others.
