"evilhero EP Release"

By far the album’s standout track, “Rubberneck Row” is a reflective ballad of loss, with a distinctive climax and resolution. I found myself listening to the lyrics earnestly, hoping to learn the words so I could wail alongside singer Ian Ferris. - Seven Days

"Northern Exposure"

evilhero – "a band with a sturdy rock n’ roll feel, walking the line between big arena riffs and quirky indie finesse, their catchy falsetto melodies and chunky refrains are sure to impress." - Bill Jandl - The Deli Magazine

Self-titled EP - July 2008

evilhero formed in the spring of 2007 as Cory Wilhelm (drummer) and Ian Ferris (guitar, vocals) began writing songs together. Sean Patrick Rice (guitar) joined with them shortly thereafter and instantly provided the perfect complimentary songs and guitar tones to the sound that was being assembled. Nick Rosato was brought in to play bass, and found an incredibly intuitive rhythm approach with Cory. The band spent months practicing, recording, practicing again, and then finally hitting the stages in their market. They release their first self-titled CD in July and are growing quickly in the region with print reviews, shows in New York and Boston, and television appearances.
