Bio
Evil piccolo is singer/songwriter Richard carpenter. Based in the North West, he brings a heavy rock/grunge feel to the acoustic guitar, It's this blend of intimacy and roughness that characterises his style and makes him stand out from other acoustic artists.
Originally from south wales he played many gigs as a singer/songwriter, After a move to the north west of england he immediately joined a band in liverpool called bombed out priests, A band which quickly gained a good local following with their energetic live performances. Sadly due to unforseen problems they disbanded and Rich went back to being a solo artist.
With appearances at various festivals and venues in the uk he continues writing and performing his own material and has built up a following because of his dark and infectious songs coupled with a passionate live performance.
