As far as we know, we are the only pseudo-political third-wave ska band in Birmingham, AL. Musically, each one of us has a fondness for the ska we were hooked on in the 90's--bands like the Bosstones, Less than Jake, Pietasters, Blue Meanies, Skankin' Pickle, and others. Our sound draws from both early two-tone ska and third wave. The band came together during the 2004 election time to write songs that adequately, if not perfectly, describe the tension of right-wing versus left-wing ideals in America. Our purpose? To come up with some killer horn lines and dance moves to convey our somewhat vague understanding of politics.
