Bio
Hollywood Florida based band, E O S [Evolution of Sound] began their roots as a nothing more than a guy and a guitar amongst friends, but has now developed into much more than that. Starting with lead singer DeWitt Clark who, in the summer of 2007, launched a collaborative album under the stage name Clark Kent with fellow singer/songwriter Bluejay, entitled “…And the Radio” which was composed of some of the earliest originals and some select classic rock covers, the native Florida band has expanded to an invigorating collection of original compositions and a cast of musicians to match. After reuniting with friend and classmate Francis Matthews in 2010, DeWitt and Francis traveled to Tallahassee Florida in July 2010 to perform as guests of the Composium series. It was then in early 2011 that the duo was lucky enough to be introduced to Victor Manuel, who with his unique percussive flavor, brought a much-needed element to the project. Then finally, in mid-November 2011, the band stumbled upon the fourth addition to the project, Jorge Canovas; one of Miami's premier bassists who had just completed work on the Latin Grammys, and a perfect fit to fill the big bass shoes needed for such a project. With the core of the group now settled, they now look forward to their much-anticipated debut EP release in early 2012 and continue to compose and perform regularly
