EX2 began as the solo project of guitarist Eric Ellingsworth. A veteran of the emergent Midwest music scene, Eric, described by Hot Guitarist Video Magazine editor as "One of the most original, expressive guitarists on the scene today", brings his textured rhythm playing, melodic solos, the ability to shred, along with his top notch songwriting skills to his debut release “Population One”. Join by 3 seaoned musicians, EX2 is poised to take the modern rock world by storm.

"Is There Love In Outer Space?" - In the first 3 weeks of release on isound.com had over 2400 plays, voted most original modern rock track on garageband.com, and received international attention on the podcast network program The Rock Show, which features some of the best unsigned bands in the world. The song has also charted as high as number 32 on the Alternative charts on soundclick.com.
