"Exalt Cycle Evasion Therapy Review"

After the excellent debut album "Across the Ashes and the Roots, recorded on 2007, and an intense live activity in recent years that has led them to play everywhere (often in Italy as a supporter in Exilia),Exalt Cycle are back to the Italian alternative scene. The new self-released EP and crisp printing, Evasion Therapy, contains 5 new tracks that signal a big change compared to the original crossover sound: since the devastating opener, "Wring My Blood," a good mix of metalcore and thrash invests ears , skirting very closely the sound of Ill Nino, Hatebreed and Machine Head.

The classic canon of nu-metal to which we had become accustomed to our local bands are progressively abandoned, with the songs that appear much more fingerprints on - Rockon

"Exalt Cycle Evasion Therapy Review"

"Across The Ashes And The Roots" had made us know the Exalt Cycle as a very promising band with a solid sound for paying the U.S. alternative scene early decade. Now arrives fresh off the press this new EP and it gets damn intriguing, just the initial "Wring My Blood" to understand as the former are certainly not resting on our laurels but have worked hard to bring substantial improvements to the already good record debut.

The Exalt Cycle’s sound in 2009 is more warm and full bodied than before, less urgent but more determined and compact. Huge guitar sound Wolve that hurts and creates a beautiful wall of sound while the rhythm section is eclectic and a touch of dynamism needed to fly is the compositions. Noteworthy in this sense the sounds of EP that are hot and powerful as they should be in sound production in these areas. Excellent and much more mature also evidence of Zack to the microphone, more angry and "hot" compared to the past that ringed a number of infectious chorus and perfectly calibrated.

So much groove and melody "powerful" and captivating, but they are only five pieces that make all five shots to score so much that is really difficult to point out a song better than the other. A disc that can truly represent a turning point for the Exalt Cycle, a concrete step forward and an EP strongly recommended. - Noize

"Exalt Cycle " Evasion Therapy ""

This is a band that still believes in crossover and manages to give the genre its own interpretation
Exalt Cycle from Milan offer, this time, a great work rich in original features, particularly with regard instrumental part of the disc, all associated with a significant aggressiveness worthy of a band like Rage Against The Machine.
Dynamic rhythm, significant and original guitar riffs, vigourous vocal line all involving the listener
Evasion Therapy is composed of only 5 songs that communicate continuously determination and force, has many melodic interludes and is characterized by good production work
The artwork is also excellent just like the song themselves that the disc, seems to communicate a strong sense of unease. - Metal Wave

Bio

“I’m not against the system. It’s the system that’s against me”. Bob Marley

Nearly always where we come from has a direct influence on our actions, especially if we produce music.
Yes because if the place where a person is born very often forgets humanity and sensitiveness then we can only grow with anger and hate tattooed on our souls.
If we then add complete intolerance towards every form of exploitation and violence we have a clear understanding of a particular project.
This is the EXALT CYCLE or rather what induced four Italian youths to join up together and begin their battle.

Born in 2006 from the union of Zack, singer and writer with very nonconformist ideas, and the guitarist Wolverine, famous for the heaviness and violence of his riff, the band starts producing material, practicing daily until Balo, a fast and dynamic drummer, and bass guitar Andrea famous for his great creativeness and unquestionable technique join the line up and form the group as it now.
After not many months the group collects a series of concerts where they present original songs, seasoned with covers, which enhance their musical roots (Slipknot, Machine Head, Sepultura, Rage Against The Machine), taking the stage by storm and demonstrating an impressive aptitude for live performances.
The pieces created by EXALT CYCLE are characterized by a granitic and violent sound which supports the wild yells of Zack.
The themes are always with a social base and make EXALT CYCLE unique in the Italian underground scene.
In 2007 their first official album “Across the Ashes and Roots”, totally produced by them, comes out and strikes us for its immediateness and high quality sound.
Pieces such as “Rising”, “Digger”, “Soldier Child” or “Naked Think” devastating and their strong point in their numerous live performances, impress us for the maturity of their compositions and the technique of the individuals.
The album has positive reviews on the webzine and contributes to the ever growing numbers of fans who observe with affectionate interest the growth of this Italian band.
2007 and 2008 were spent practically always on stage, with an impressive number of concerts both in Italy and abroad, often as support to Exilia, Extrema, Dufresne, Mellowtoy, Pino Scotto, Arcadia, De Crew.
2009 opens with the same incessant live activity and the development of new pieces ready to take by storm all the stages in the country.
At the start of 2009 “Keinez” joins up to EXALT CYCLE as a new bass player, a real boulder, a new sound…this is the start of a new cycle.

In October 2009 their new EP “Evasion Therapy” come out, and the single “Infected Mind” show a new dimension and e new level for the band.
After all the 2010 spends on tour, they come back in studio to start the pre-production.
In 2011 they went to Cleveland\U.S.A. to record the brand new album at Conquistador Studio (Producer: Cole Martinez – System Divide, Salt The Wound), the new single will be out in the middle of 2011.

Their battle continues to ignore the meaning of the world truce.
