Executive Monkey

Executive Monkey was formed in 2007 and represents the next logical twist in fate for these five Canadian musicians. After years of kicking around the bar scene in some of Southwestern Ontario’s top party bands, it was clear that the time had come for all to unite their efforts and lay down this latest collection of original songs. It doesn’t take long to notice that Executive Monkey is not your average rock and roll group. An original blend of progressive funkadelia, swirling dark grooves tied up tight with political and social controversy. Front-man Jay brings an electrifying presence to the stage and with his passion for performance he nails his voice to every lyric. Dave and Jimmy hold down the rhythm section like they have been for the past million years and spill their magic out onto everything that they do. Steph stirs the pot with commentary and sinister guitar in a style all her own while Dwayne pulls it all together like a conductor on a runaway train.
