Executives

Executives formed in the summer of 2008 when Chris Fuhst (bass/vocals) and Tim Watkins (guitar) of a recently disbanded local band NS met Andy Korwin (drums) and decided to start a punk band that blew peoples minds.

The trio wasted no time and began writing new songs (as well as bring a few select songs from NS) to establish themselves and begin playings shows. In December of 2008 Executives played their first show at Chyro Arts (Scottsdale, AZ)where the band called home for two years until the venue closed in May of 2010.

In January of 2009 the band entered the studio to record the Executives EP. The EP was released in July 2009 (digitally) with fan favorite songs Flagstaff, James and more. The band is currently working on songs for a full length album and should be in the studio to record by spring 2011.

Shortly after recording the Executives EP the band decided to add Chris's younger brother Jeremy, another former NS member, to play rhythm guitar. with the addition of Jeremy to the band the group gained a more balanced sound and continues to gain momentum with every show played.

Executives have played in many venues in the Phoenix area, including Yucca Tap Room and Chyro Arts. The band has also played a couple of shows in Flagstaff as well, including The Joint and The Orpheum, where Executives opened up for Authority Zero.

About a month after opening for Authority Zero. Executives came under management of Harka Music, and are currently planning a limited, west coast tour.
