Bio

" Moving into digital, we’ve become invincible. Forget about the physical, our path’s illuminating. Cities luminous in sight, built straight through the sky. Regeneration of the eye that a color stream’s creating."

Those are some lyrics from Digital Life, one of Exist Elsewhere's new songs mixed, mastered and produced using Logic Pro on a MacBook Pro computer. The band's entire debut EP, Live at the Isle of Wight Radio, was created this way. You could say Apple is at the core of everything they do. Their website was developed through iWeb and in four short months has received more than 100,000 hits. Each rehearsal is organized through group iPhone MMS messages. Lead singer Noah Benardout's iPad provides unique musical input into the bands sound! "We like to play with a lot of synths and electronic sounds," Noah muses. "We're really into technology. I love using my iPad app to build tracks for our songs. They have cool synth sounds on there. We used them especially on our songs Digital Life and The Great Beyond.”

As lead guitarist Luke Walton puts it, "Apple is simply the only computer that can keep up with all of the projects we work on every day." Drummer Brandon Woodward agrees. "I've been using Apple gear my whole life." What’s more, bass player Aaron Dowler adds "They've always seemed to be focused on helping creative types like our band."

Exist Elsewhere was founded on the idea of combining the latest technology with the rock and roll ethos of the past. Apple has been central to their sound, growth, and emergence as one of LA's up and coming indie rock groups playing venues like House of Rock, Hard Rock Café Hollywood, The Roxy and The Viper Room.

Noah Benardout - lead vocals, guitar & keyboards - was born in London but now lives in Los Angeles. This past July, he was the youngest artist ever to be awarded a prestigious residency at Hollywood’s Hard Rock Café. Interestingly enough, Noah is related to the great composer Irving Berlin.

Luke Walton - lead guitar, vocals - has worked with such notable artists as Randy Newman, Alan Parsons, Steve Miller and Joe Satriani during his last four years at USC’s Popular Music Program. A virtuoso guitar player, singer and songwriter, Luke cultivated a substantial YouTube following after publicly asking Taylor Swift out on a date by singing his guy version of Love Story!

Brandon Woodward - drums, percussion & vocals - is also currently in USC’s Popular Music Program in his junior year. Tall and handsome, the band likes to bring him out from behind the drums to sing up front on occasions!

Nick Petrou - bass, vocals - is the third member of the band on the USC Thornton School of Music Popular Music Program. A business entrepreneur, a tennis coach and a professional fraternity brother rounds off Nick's impressive resume when he's not playing bass.

Exist Elsewhere believes if you combine great technology with talent, passion, commitment and creativity, you have a winning combination.

" In a digital life, the revolution, it’s been proven. In a digital life, the revolution, is evolution.”
