Scratchy, emotional vocals and e-bowed guitar float above a precisely textured foundation in this band’s cinematic centerpieces. The rest of the world seems to evaporate when singer/songwriter Greg Jacobs begins his warm, mournful journey. The rest of the band supports marvelously while carefully forging their own individual expression.

Bio
Listeners might wonder where Existaria has been for the past four years. After an appearance in 2004’s Midpoint Music Festival and several shows in early 2005, guitarist Josh Riffle was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He recovered in 2006, and Existaria reunited in 2007, adding keyboardist Erin Guendelsberger.
Led by singer/songwriter Greg Jacobs, the band returns with a more rock-oriented style than their 2004 EP Extemporisis. A new record, to be released in the summer of 2009, will feature delicate melodies blended with percussionist Jeff Trotta’s solid rhythmic undertows.
Exisaria has created music for more than a decade, sharing the stage with bands including Lume, Tiara, Campfire Crush, Sleepybird, Gaberdine, and Flotation Walls.
