Old fans and new listeners have expressed that the music is catchy, memorable, and the band possesses their own unique sound and style. Partnered with an undeniably fun and electrifying live show, each member brings their individual presence that surges throughout the audience.
For the past decade or so, Rock music has seen some rather extreme changes and a few metamorphoses. It is a wonder that some of the bands out there today can even dare to call their music Rock. That’s obvious since they have coined new phrases to represent their genre’s (nu metal?).
In this age of technical audio enhancements and engineering wizardry, it is refreshing to know that the energy behind the musical performance you hear on the EXIT 24 demo can be represented live and even enhanced when the guys perform their songs.
It’s also something to be said that the 4 members of the band bring 4 completely eclectic styles and backgrounds to the composition of EXIT 24. These guys have been playing music together for several years, and have gelled well. They all share in the writing and development of all the songs, and eagerly display their wares on each track. You’ve got Bill Lajoy on the Bass Guitar who forcefully explodes his in-your-face styles when needed, and shows restraint as well. John Adair is never content to let the listener sit bored, and always brings his musical pop-sensibilities and accents that add a welcome flair. Mark Adamo pounds away on the Drums with a persistence and rhythm that keeps a solid intensity whether loud or quiet. Rodney Wiltshire brings his potent vocal range to the table, always ensuring that the lyrical melody and delivery remains fresh in your mind.
There is a huge ground swell starting to occur in the music industry with regard to Rock Music, and we all know that there are millions of kids who are weaning themselves off of the teen-pop and agro-rock music that has proliferated across the airwaves in the past few years. The pendulum is swinging back this way, and EXIT 24 is in position to grace the path that it is heading toward.
