Exmiranda, an up and coming rapper and Rexdale native with west African roots, she has been making waves through out Toronto for her unique voice, dynamic flow and ability to infuse various genres with her eclectic rap style. Her freedom of expression and authenticity has set her apart sonically.Before Venturing into the sphere of hiphop , Exmiranda started off as a poet and spoken word artist. Though in Her 20’s, Exmiranda artistic influences range from legendary entertainers like Maya Angelou and Nina Simone to rappers like Biggie Smalls, Azealia Banks, Sarkodie, Drake and many more. Her musicality has afforded her support from the Canadian Council For the arts and the ontario arts council. This has solidified her as a potential player on the Toronto rap scene who isn't letting out anytime soon.
