First Verse:

In a country that values diversity in our society
Proud of its long list of
history as a land that's free,
let's you be who you want tobe
No minorities or majorities
Just a community
brought together in unity
Living in harmony, so that the whole world can see
Protected daily by
the RCMP, served bravely from our
national army,
all the people
who fought to achieve a nation
full of democracy.
Lest we forget
the couragest war vets, that gave
up their lives, just for us.
Or the committment for our
government, elected right now in
the house of parliment
Birth place of the charter of
rights,
Truest colours of red and white
Pointing up at the sky at night
The majestic sight of the northern lights
And I know when a
battles drawn Will be the last
ones standing strong
I don't care if you don't know the words to the song, but show your respect and stand when my anthems on.

Chorus:
(O'canada, our home on
native land)

From far and wide,
where the boarders divide
Our flag flys high with our national
pride.

(True patriot love, with
all our sons command)

No matter where I go or the things that I own,
There's still just one place
that I will ever call my home

Second Verse:
From the north to the west
to the east to the south,
everybody knows what we're all
about
With our terrorities and
their diamond mines
Right down to BC's vast coastlines
Blinging out in my yukon gold
Freezing my ass in Nunavut's cold
Digging out of 3ft of snow
Manitoba's winters are 40 below
Its in PEI where the potatoes grow,
the young and old have their stories told
How confederation bridge connects to New Brunswick with the sound of
traditional music
Over your head
the geese fly in flocks to the
hopewell rocks and ferry docks
Out to explore the ocean
shores of New Foundland and
Labador.
Beside the pride of Nova
Scotia's bluenose
To my home of Ontario
With the CN tower, falls hydro power; Partying in Quebec
until the late night hours
Alberta's mountains and oil
sands Over look Saskatchewan's
flatlands All of this to make us
understand How lucky we are to be
canadian

Chorous:
(O'canada, our home on
native land)

From far and wide,
where the boarders divide
Our flag flys high with our national
pride.

(True patriot love, with
all our sons command)

No matter where I go or the things that I own,
There's still just one place
that I will ever call my
home

Interlude:
See, my country gives me a
sense of freedom and a sense of
hope. That's the reason why we
have the hottest women and the
finest dope
From far and wide,
where the borders divide,
There's
only one place I can call my
home.

(O'canada, our home on
native land)
(True patriot love,
with all our sons
command)

Chorus:
(O'canada, our home on
native land)

From far and wide,
where the boarders divide
Our flag flys high with our national
pride.

(True patriot love, with
all our sons command)

No matter
where I go or the things that I
own, There's still just one place
that I will ever call my
home
