eXtinction

We're a band from sunny San Diego that started 2 years ago. Originally our band was to be called The Fallen but that sounded like the skate company so then Brandon, the drummer and Brian, the lead guitarist worked to together to make a name and the result was eXtinction. we started out making our own simple songs at first but they sounded horrible.

Several months later Brian was able to recruit a new bass player named Jake Treibel. we also recruited some friends to fill in the other parts such as Zach "Singer" Elliot was the singer and Stephen "Stevo" Kluthe who was the 2nd lead guitarist. Together our music started to become more defined and gained skill after playing several gigs together until Zach Elliot and Stephen Kuthe were kicked out for various reasons.

And then there were 3.... after the 2 left, we stopped playing shows and started working on refining our music. we were able to several covers from old school bands such as Black Sabbath, Green Day, The Misfits and other Punk/Metal bands. After thrashing around for a while right before a Battle of the Bands Competition, Jake quit the band for some unexplainable reasons.

So now its just Brandon and Brian. we are currently in the process of looking for new band members.
