Bio

Eye Candy is a collection of heavy, catchy riffs with strong pop/rock vocals. It is also full of clean atmospheric tonal qualities that are just too well-founded to be considered “another la band."

California based singer/songwriter, Dani Raushi, has found her music developed thru the expression of communicating her life, travels and hardships after running away from a small town in Michigan, at 16. Being strong enough to be better than what life had thrown at her, she took a one-way ticket on a westbound train and hit Hollywood at the tender age of 18.

After being able to tour Italy in 2004, with her Pop EP in a mini musical, and just releasing her solo album “Truth and Lies” under the band name Amphetame, in 2008, she found herself looking for an LA based band immediately upon her return to America. In May of 2008, she was advised to write with producer Jay Gordon of Orgy. He produced 3 songs, one of which she wrote with Marcos Curiel from P.O.D and the others with her newly found band mates Jack Sin and Matt Conley of “Die Trying”, and Island Records signed band.

By August 2008 they had started recording at NRG Studios and had the songs mixed by Grammy winning producer and mixer Jay Baumgardner. The three new band mates moved into a house together in valley village, to focus on constant writing. Pulling in and auditioning musicians they networked with, they soon came across Joey Hollearn, who was the guitarist from The Prom Kings. The writing and progression of the band became very fit. Looking for the last link, Jack met up with Kip Ratt, a songwriter from Seattle, to rock the bass and now formed Eye Candy.

The members of Eye Candy are no newbies when it comes to performing. Having toured with bands such as, Seether, Papa Roach, Evanescence, 3 doors down, Helmet,Sum 41 and The Butterfly Effect, just to name a few.

With consistent, solid live performances, Eye Candy is quickly gaining fans having just started touring up the NW U.S. Region. The strength in Dani’s vocals and sexy demeanor along with a captivating band, that has an obvious flow of energy, leaves you wanting more.
