Who are Eyes of Isis?

Four talented young musicians. One vision. Seen through the Eyes of Isis.

Eyes of Isis is the future of rock ’n roll in Canada, a band that crafts lyrical, melodic and sophisticated music that will appeal to listeners of all ages.
The creation of 18-year-old vocalist and guitarist Jordan Davidson and his writing partner Chase Rennie, Eyes of Isis is a band on a mission — to reach the pinnacle of success.

They may be young and still in high school but the members of Eyes of Isis — which includes 16-year-old bass guitarist Joey Emerson and 15-year-old drummer Aaron Folkerson — are focused on achieving their dream and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to see that dream become a reality. With their parent’s blessing, the foursome from Lethbridge, Alberta will be hitting the road where ever their journey takes them this year as they take their distinct sound to any audience that will listen.

Forget university, Eyes of Isis is going to the school of rock on a musical road trip. , “Eyes of Isis is my university” says Davidson, who lives, breathes and sleeps music. “I am extremely ambitious, sometimes I have trouble falling asleep.” Music is Davidson’s passion, a passion shared by his band mates especially close pal Rennie, a truly formidable axe man. “If I hadn’t met Chase, there probably wouldn’t be a band,” says Davidson. The newest members of the band, Emerson and Folkerson, two young dynamic artists, are the final ingredients in a musical recipe that audiences are going to eat up.

Since the band was created in 2009, Eyes of Isis has written a couple of dozen songs and with its current lineup, this foursome ready to take on the musical world. “Everybody is dedicated and on the same page. We’re ready to take it to the next level,” says Davidson.

The four musicians have an incredible natural chemistry, one which makes writing and performing as natural as breathing. They may be teenagers but they truly have old souls. Their music is compelling, listenable and radio-friendly. One reviewer says of Eyes of Isis “these kids are throwbacks to a golden era of screaming guitar solos, power chords and memorable vocals. . .they have a keen sense of melody and clearly respect the heritage of their chosen genre without sounding clichéd.”

Welcome to Eyes of Isis — the new vision of rock ’n roll.
