Eyes On Skies

'Eyes On Skies' is a lively, indie pop/folk duo from Billings, Montana, consisting of the ridiculously tall brothers Coram and Canon Parker. Their crowd-pleasing performances feature unique combinations of guitar, keyboards, accordion, banjo, ukulele, glockenspiel, and assorted percussion. The pair are notorious for their quirky live antics, as well as their irresistibly catchy pop melodies. Coram and Canon draw inspiration for their original material from an eclectic assortment of artists such as Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Paul Simon, Neutral Milk Hotel, Fleet Foxes, Hellogoodbye, Led Zeppelin, Freelance Whales, and The Decemberists, to name but a few.

In 2011, Eyes On Skies entered and won the statewide 'Band Idol' competition sponsored by the Billings Gazette. This triggered a series of successful performances, most notably a set alongside ‘Hanson’ at the Magic City Blues Festival. Since then, the duo have honed their live chops playing dozens of regional shows everywhere from festivals to coffee houses, street corners, and a bizarre and memorable set at a men's homeless shelter. Over this winter, the band retreated to their basement studio to record an eleven track album titled ‘Zebra Dreaming’ to be released early this summer.

With shaggy hair, battered instruments, and a growing reputation, 'Eyes On Skies' are ready to follow their musical dreams down whatever path they may take in 2012.
