E.Y.M. Elevate Your Minds

EYM, or "ELEVATE YOUR MINDS", is a slick Los Angeles band, made up of vibrating Funk, Hip Hop and Rock. They came to life out of Pasadena, California in 2011, forming a musical family of six very different guys from all over the country-side.

With "Mike Z", hailing from Long Island, NY, bringing us his silky vocals. He claims to have successfully wrestled two Polar Bears. God only knows if this is true. His tenacious personality is transferred through their music, as there is a good marriage between melodic and lyrically-unique Rap. Known among his band brothers, Mike Z always brings popcorn to everyone's house as a token of gratitude.

Out of San Diego, California, comes Mo “Truth” who lends his very strong and robust vocals. He bares his share of body ink, which not so subtly, sets him apart from the rest of EYM. Perhaps a not so little known fact, Mo has to smoke his weed everyday. I suppose their are worse things he could be doing…

EYM is heavy and brass with its lyrical content, as are most songs in the Rap music arena, but their writing style is easy to follow and mindfully-memorable featuring full tracks of symphonic instrumental.

The entire band attends The LA Music Academy in Pasadena, California, and they each study production, drums, guitar, bass and vocals. They would meet after school for jam sessions, which later turned into EYM.

Will Dynamite's smooth vocal style rounds out the bands vocals. He came to Los Angeles From Chicago in 2011. You might say he's freely into sleeping, or as he calls it “chilling hard”… He's the only member of EYM old enough to remember the 80’s.

Seth Jamison plays an wicked-awesome guitar, and wishes he lived in the 80’s so he could turn the band Van Halen into The Seth Jamison Band. Seth comes to EYM out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Ryan, our beloved Bassist is from Denton, Texas and is a veteran FIFA player (PS3). He dreams of having his own character on South Park. That's actually, not hard to imagine.

Last but not least, is Caylon, who's fine art of drumming keeps us all in sync. He comes to us all the way from the small town of Boise, Idaho, and can maneuver a van and trailer in reverse faster than Jason Bourne in a Mini Cooper on a Parisian side street, and wins himself a gold medal for most-outstanding facial hair, a trait that gives him his own distinctive style.

EYM's music is progressive, yet old-school and this band of brothers has one simple rule, making good music…
