Biography

EZ Tiger is a female power trio, led by the unique songwriting and spectacular guitar work of lead-singer, Tina DiGeorge. The band has created an alternative pop sound all their own, crafting an impressive debut with Kristy McInnis on drums and Anna Rosales on bass, a rhythmic powerhouse with angelic backing vocals. In 2008, producer, Scott Bennett, met the band at one of their first shows in Echo Park, CA and was taken by the groups fiery chemistry and originality. He immediately expressed interest in producing the band and soon thereafter, they went to work at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles. Between intensive studio and touring work with Brian Wilson, Bennett produced sessions with EZ Tiger, resulting in ten dynamic, mesmerizing tracks. Stand out songs include the driving rocker, “Legend,” the psychedelic jam, “Tiger Trance,” and the heart-melting ballad, “Any Other Day.”

Lyrics

Romp

Written By: Tina DiGeorge

You start to feel it when it falls apart
You never hear it 'till it's an alarm
Coming at you like you're standing still
You never feel it 'till you're underneath the wheel

So hard to see you
Harder to tell you
They try to sell you out again
Don't let them sell you out again out again

You keep on moving so you won't feel time
When nothing happens don't you be surprised
Undercover yeah you think you are
undercover but you're only in the dark

So hard to see you
Harder to tell you
They try to sell you out again
Don't let them sell you out again out again

Don't want to feel your suffering
Don't make me feel your suffering
Don't want to make you suffer
Don't make me feel you suffer

You start to feel it when it falls apart
You never hear it 'till it's an alarm
Coming at you like you're standing still
Never feel it 'till you're underneath the wheel

So hard to see you
Harder to tell you
They try to sell you out again
Don't let them sell you out again out again

The Kill

Written By: Tina DiGeorge

Play, I wouldn't play
Unless I knew that you were certain of my aim
Oh, beg you shouldn't beg
And risk it all to dance alone inside your head

Say you will
Leave me something from the kill
Somewhere I can find still
Beneath your speckless sky

Send every clue you can
I swear I'll use them all until I understand
Leave, it's just a tease
There's no relief beyond the stars that I can see

Say you will
Leave me something from the kill
Somewhere I can find still
Beneath your speckless sky

Stay

Written By: Tina DiGeorge

The splinter in my, the splinter in my
Head you can have it
You'll never know why, you'll never know why
For lies it's a magnet

Stay right there my
Pretty little experiment crawling up the sky
Stay right there my
Precious little experiment
How'd you get so far behind

The center of your, the center of your
world you can have it
You can be sure that I'm sure
I wouldn't know how to handle it

Stay right there my
Pretty little experiment falling off the sky
Stay right there my precious little experiment
Who got so far behind

The sinner in my soul, the sinner in my soul
Is always laughing
He'll never let me know, he'll never let me know
How this happened

But it's too soon to forget
And it's far too late to stop
When it's too soon to forget
What we got

Stay right there my
Pretty little experiment holding up the sky
Stay right there my
Precious little experiment
How'd we get so far behind

Legend

Written By: Tina DiGeorge

It's the last thing that you'll hear
Echoes shake and disappear into the stars
If the band decides to play and the dance is still the same
I'll stumble in
Again

The more this story falls apart
The promise in my head is not enough
To hold up to the light
And answer for myself
It's not enough

So, we left it in the shade
But how does that explain it's over now
And the siren interferes
Words are tangled in your ear
"I still love you..."

The more this story falls apart
The promise in my head is not enough
To hold up to the light
And answer for myself
It's not enough

They're showing you silence again
I'll follow you out of your skin
And leave you where you've never been

It's the first thing that you'll hear
Whispers fall and disappear into the stars

The more this story falls apart
The promise in my head is not enough
To hold up to the light
And answer for myself
It's not enough

Any Other Day

Written By: Tina DiGeorge

Any other day
It wouldn't even matter
What you had to say
When the ashes start to scatter
Where they hit the ground
The sidewalk turns to gravel
And you hear the sound
Of diamonds when they shatter

The stage is set
The lines are cued
The battle's still the same with or without you
The stage is set
What's left to lose
We let ourselves forget 'till it's alright
For tonight
For tonight

From the bottom of the barrel we'll carry on
Holding up tomorrow with our shorter arm
Slaving for redemption
In the coolness of our haze
Holding things together
But never quite in place

The stage is set
The lines are cued
The battle's still the same with or without you
The stage is set
What's left to lose
We let ourselves forget 'till it's alright
For tonight
For tonight

Is this gonna save your life
Is this gonna save your life
This is gonna save your life
This is gonna save your life...
