"Palmetto Records Review"

It's still about the guitar here at Palmetto and Glenn wields his ax like a veritable modern day Paul Bunyan. He's played with everyone from Chico Hamilton to Liza Minelli; appearing on tracks with Stewart Copeland, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen, and others.
Glenn's released a few CDs over the last couple of years for other indy labels but nothing where he's gone this far into his own heart--this project blows all comparisons apart. He's calling this one Oria which means golden and dawning and happens to be the name of his daughter (what a coincidence!).
Released in January of 1996, Oria pleased Glenn's devoted followers and brought new initiates to the Palmetto groove religion. But don't take our word for it, after all, we're just quasi-computer literate record slimes with a biased attitude. - Palmetto Records

"Downbeat"

The most impressive thing about Glenn Alexander's album isn't who he got to play on it, it's the quality of the song writing.

"Jazziz"

...Like Metheny and Holdsworth, Alexander plows through earthbound, windblown chordal fields, at times launching into more avant-garde and improvisational moments.

Brian Trim was born in Albany, New York, at a very young age. As young as he was, though, it was apparent he had a real knack for rhythm and was duly encouraged by his music-loving parents. Young Brian and the drums began a long and beautiful friendship that continues to this day, delighting man and beast.
He grew up and studied (and I mean studied) performance and percussion at the College of Saint Rose in Albany. Brian's dedication to his art made it clear that it was high time he ventured to the biggish city to hone that craft. It is at the Big Bad Berklee School of Music in Boston that Brian, in addition to performance and percussion, tried his able hand at production and engineering. His only failure at Berklee was resisting the urge to grow a ponytail--the water at Berklee contains a special ponytail-growing elixir, so there was really nothing he could do.
Being non-partisan, Brian has lent his tremendous musicianship and professionalism to artists on both coasts and everywhere in between, from Motown to Memphis. He has been a professional touring and session player for over ten years and has played with the likes of Terry Lin (Motown Records), Dave Frizell (country music legend), Will Lee (David Letterman Band), Wayne Krantz (Steely Dan/Freelance), Cristopher Lucas, Keith Paine, Joe Whyte and others. His learned yet inspired style seasons anything from a sweet pop song to fusion.
Brian frequently takes his pimp hand to many jingle sessions as well, including KFC, Fuji, Ray Ban, MTV's Celebrity Death Match, to name a few. Also expect to hear numerous original compositions from this drummer at large. People may try to stop him but they can't!
Brian has an easy way about him and without being a goody-two-sticks, is the most responsible kid on the block. He has cut his ponytail and opens wide his arms to embrace the day, sticks in fists.

Welcome, and thanks for dropping by!!!
