FA was born Faquama Anthony Deline in Monrovia, Liberia. Growing up amidst two civil wars, FA experienced things incomprehensible to most children
FA’s eyes were opened to more things and he was experiencing things far beyond most children, but he always loved music.

FA’s passion of music was born in church where he sang in choir and learned to play the piano, guitar, and drums. Passion turned to obsession, FA would fill his head with the sounds of American R&B artists like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, and Boyz 2 Men.

To escape the violence, FA left Liberia and stayed at a refugee camp in Ghana before moving to the United States in 2000 to pursue his love of music.

FA has been performing regularly for the last 6 years the United States, he has opened for artists such as Freddie Jackson, KC & JoJo, Chico Debarge, Cherrel, Donnell Jones, Anthony Hamilton, Too Short and Pimp C (RIP) and collaborated with local artists, MC’s Unknown, Uneasy and singers Chantel and Kaylee

FA won Liberian Entertainment Awards Best Artist of the Year in 2008 and 2009 and was nominated Best R&B artist by the Liberian Image Awards.

FA currently resides in Minneapolis, MN
