Fabian Willems

Fabian Willems is a gifted singer, worshipleader, songwriter and music producer. He was born in 1974 in Zurich Switzerland, but grew up both in the Netherlands and on the Caribbean Island Curaçao. He is the father of four and together with his beautiful wife Ghiselle he now resides in the Netherlands. Fabian stands out for his anointed music ministry and the purity by which he communicates his heart in song. He is a great man of God with a tenacity to step out in faith and accomplish great things. His life proves that all things are possible with God. He is an instrument that reaches out to the Now generation, by releasing a voice that relates to the broken, hurting and lost and pointing them to Christ, the risen Saviour. His music is about being relevant and making a difference through an experience with the living God.

Already from childhood Fabian had a great ear for music. As a young fatherless teenager he experienced a sense of brokenness and rejection. His life changed when he turned to the Christian faith and he radically accepted Jesus Christ at the early age of sixteen. At this time God called Fabian to be “a witness to the nations in the last days, to transcend every cultural barrier and reach out to every generation”. Music for God and ministering to people became his passion ever since. Fabian first started on the streets at evangelic outreaches, youth activities and Gospel concerts where he excelled in praise and worship. He became active in church mainly serving in the music ministry as a praise and worship leader, psalmist, musician, choir-director, speaker and elder.

Looking on how he got started Fabian has never despised small beginnings. After obtaining his degree in Music Technology in 2000 he independently recorded and distributed two of his own gospel solo-albums titled “It’s Time To Praise The Lord” in 2001 and “But Joy Comes In The Morning” in 2003. Fabian produced his passionate music in the boundaries of his own room with the least resources. Still his albums became greatly successful and were a tremendous inspiration to many in the military areas in Germany and the Netherlands. Within this international community Fabian soon became a well received minister, acknowledged for his captivating bible-based songs and his unique anointed voice. He appeared on a few Dutch recordings such as “Zing Een Nieuw Lied” in 2006 (GMI music) and even did guest-performances in the States at churches in Atlanta and Texas. In these humble stages Fabian continued to develop his God-given talent like a ‘shepherd boy David’ in the field with a kings destiny written upon his life. His ministry has continued to excel over the years and now God is taking Fabian to new levels.

Fabian recently released his new and official album titled ‘Freedom’, which features his amazing talent in song writing and brilliance in music production. This album truly is anointed and each one of his songs have a powerful content. Fabian sought out great musicians and collaborated with top-notch producers and engineers resulting in a phenomenal album. With this groundbreaking CD Fabian releases a refreshing sound within Christian music. His style is cross-cultural and contemporary, blending the energy of diverse musical genres such as Rock, R&B, Pop, Black Gospel, Soul, Funk, Caribbean and Symphonic classical music. His music is best described as a ‘Kingdom sound’, for the ultimate goal is to touch lives for the King of kings. “Freedom” is an awesome epic experience with music that liberates, breaks chains, elevates your faith and leads you in breathtaking worship.
