Bio
Tela and Edwina Cheri Patterson are natives of Houston, TX where they began dancing as young children. They are the twin daughters of Debrah Patterson.
At a young age these girls showed not only a talent to dance but hearts that truly sought after God. They have had training in ballet, jazz, modern, tap and street dance.
Currently, Tela and Cheri Patterson attend Houston Baptist University where they are pursuing a degree in Biology and Chemistry where they aspire to become Pediatric Medical Doctors.
They are members of Brookhollow Baptist Church (The Church Without Walls) were Dr. Ralph Douglas West is pastor. They are the choreographers for several ministries at TCWW which include Diamonds in the Rough, the Youth and Young Adult Ministry. They played an active role in Word in Motion Dance Company as choreographers and dancers of Abundant Life Cathedral where Dr. Ed Montgomery is pastor. They are also the dance directors of Southwest Community Baptist Church where Dr. Greg Patrick is pastor and Palace of Praise Church where Efrem Z. McDuffie is pastor which are also in Houston, Texas. Tela and Cheri Patterson are apart of Mrs. Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffies ministry team where they are the directors and choreographers of her dancers.
This dynamic duo ministers in a way that causes audiences to worship on another level. The ministry of Face 2 Face was birthed out of their worship, which encompasses their God given gifts and talents that not only include dance, but works of art, words of inspiration and the gift of servitude. Through Face 2 Face, Tela and Cheri aspire to promote dance through workshops, conferences, worship services and various gospel events. Their goal is to bless God through this visual ministry in such a way that souls are saved and people are healed, delivered and set free. They believe that through Face 2 Face the mark of God will be etched on the souls of His people through their commitment and obedience to Him.
They have ministered in the midst of gospel greats such as Don Jackson, Vickie Winans, Yolanda Adams, Dr. Bobby Jones, Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffie, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Byran Cage, Dr. Juanita Bynum and many more.
