Factro EP
Downtown/Sinister Mirror CD Single

Feeling a bit camera shy

Factro literally exploded from a malodorous basement to greet the world at a houseparty in Dublin's Stoneybatter on May 8 2004. Patrick, James and Billy played several low-key shows before making their debut proper at the Ballroom of Romance that December.

With the music gradually changing from Beat Happening/Guided By Voices inspired indie to a more energetic punked-up sound, Factro unleashed axe-man Sean McGrath on a suspecting public (it was a poorly kept secret) in March 2005.

Factro gave Sean a month to learn the band's back catalogue for a raucous headline gig at Crawdaddy with Betamax Format and The Holy Ghost Fathers. Thankfully Sean was ready to do it for the kids.

Since then the band have kept themselves trim and built up a well-dressed following thanks to gigs at, amongst others, The Ballroom (headlining this time), The Basement Club, The Village, Project Arts Centre, Tralee's Club Head Bang Bang..
