Biography

What began as a couple of friends getting together to have fun, slowly grew into something resembling a dream. When we realized that it could become something more than just a way to put our talent to constructive use, we began pursuing it with all we had. We've hit some rough spots along the way, lost members to moves and harder situations, and hit some times where it seemed beyond all possible hope. Yet, persevering through the difficulties brought a maturity to our sound and strengthened our drive to what it is today. Now, Fading out Silence is six people working as one, with the passion that drives us, we strive to bring an irrevocable sense of longing for something more than what is handed to us.

That desire is crucial to our musical process. Both our writing style and performance are derived from something that is more important than us as individuals. The deliberate push in each song to coax an emotional or spiritual response from each and every person we impact is meant to create a connection deeper than the anything else they‘ve experienced. We want to bring the listener a message that is eerily haunting and beautifully hopeful. We want them to feel the hurt, share the pain, get lost in the undying passion and heart breaking love we have for people and the world we want to help shape. We want to give them something to hold on to when they feel like they’ve lost all hope or when they feel like everything else has lost all faith in them. Whether the world or it be one person, we want a bond stronger than the mundane “under this banner we unite“ anthems, we want to stir the depths of peoples’ souls and watch them grow.

With that in mind, the journey is constant, the writing endless, the fire unstoppable, and the future unknown. For us, that prospect is ceaselessly exciting. We live for this, we’ll die for this. With every lyrical and harmonic endeavor we grow stronger and gain a firmer grasp on this craft of ours.

We love interacting with people we love seeing people interact with us and we love sharing moments of our lives with those people, that's what is going to change this place. Showing that you just have to treat the people around you better.

The love we have for music will continue to spread roots deeper into our souls and bring a greater yield and even more amazing results. It goes beyond just enjoying stepping onto a stage and having fun; it is truly something that whether writing, performing, or practicing we get lost in a euphoric bliss that can only be experienced when we share it with others, that is exactly the desire that drives us.

To all our fans now and the ones to come, thank you so much for the amazing support, we love you dearly! Here’s to the future!

May you be there with us!

Lyrics

Start of What...Going Where?

Written By: Jonathon Trone

Verse 1
Standing alone in the wreckage of a nation that has gone insane,
Praying for someone to save us, as our lives slip down the drain;
In a fiery blaze of destruction,
A generation crumbles to ash.
Placing our hope in tomorrow; living like we're in past.

Chorus
Humanity's downfall has begun; the avalanche coming towards us.
Flash flooding our lives to nothing,
Save, we take Help's hand in trust...

Verse 2
A hailstone gathering mass,
A burning ember's calling,
Death by the water drop, shed from a duct, the tears falling;
Down the cheek of tragedy,
Burning holes through time's sovereignty.

Chorus
Humanity's downfall has begun; the avalanche coming towards us.
Flash flooding our lives to nothing,
Save, we take "Help's Hand" in trust...In trust, In trust...Save, we take "Help's Hand" in trust.

Bridge
Saving us from ourselves;
our worst enemy.
Taking us somewhere else, so that we can see.
We have to bend our knees, so we can see our need.
Undo the wrong we've lived in for so long.

Saving us from ourselves;
our worst enemy.
Taking us somewhere else, so that we can see.
We have to bend our knees, so we can see our need.
Undo the wrong we've lived in for so long.
How quickly we forget that we have fallen far from His grace

Ending
The spiral down will end somehow,
but where we'll be remains to be seen.
The plane is reaching the ground now, and we don't have much time to turn it around.......

Shattering Broken Glass

Written By: Jonathon Trone

“Shattering Broken Glass”

As time flew by so did all the years
And with them went our lives trying to calm our fears
Our future’s too black to see darkened by all the lies
That grew more and more bleak as we neared out demise

Lives being lived as something they’re not
Skeletons hidden under key and lock
Avoiding Life’s Light at whatever cost
Ignoring the bridge that is the cross

We should have realized it was too good to last
Now the windows of our lives are crying broken glass
That sounds off the ground like rain hitting its pane
Echoing the very sound that’s mirroring your shame

Lives being lived as something they’re not
Skeletons hidden under key and lock
Avoiding Life’s Light at whatever cost
Ignoring the bridge that is the cross

We’ve seen lives rust away we’ve seen hearts become their tomb
Calmly watching their life fade blindly accepting the hands of fate

We’ve seen lives slowly decay by being forced to accept their doom
From putting all their faith into something that left them betrayed
Once again falling prey
To yet another human trait….

We’ve seen lives rust away we’ve seen hearts become their tomb
We’ve seen lives slowly decay by being forced to accept their doom
Calmly watching their life fade blindly accepting the hands of fate
From putting all their faith into something that left them betrayed
Once again falling prey
To yet another human trait….

Drawing Sunlight with Pencil

Written By: Jonathon Trone

"Drawing Sunlight with Pencil"

Both the black and the white have grayed
And all the lines we drew have strayed
It's starting to get warmer in the shade
And the beauty of the sunlight is beginning to fade

Now we wait for the moon to rise
Bringing the life back into our eyes
Darken the day, brighten the night
For the sun's reign has ended and...
Nothing is right

Nothing is right here
Right here is where
You wear your heart on your sleeve
This is your world...your chance to succeed
Now how will you play with no eyes to see
No eyes to see how deeply you sleep?

Oh how all men crave the dark
Craven a mirror reflecting the heart
To show all their motives wide of the mark
Yet sadly mistaken as some pure work of art

Now we wait for the sun to set
Into its sepulcher buried in debt
For the sin of the children
Unborn and small
For the sun's reign has ended
It's over that's all

Nothing is right here
Right here is where
You wear your heart on your sleeve
This is your world...your chance to succeed
Now how will you play with no eyes to see
No eyes to see how deeply you sleep?

So rise up the dead, decaying, and old
View the world as it is, as the tale unfolds
Cryptic and silent
It's passing away
Until someone redeems it
I pray for that day

Failing Kind

Written By: D and Jon

"FAILING KIND"

I STAND SILENT, HERE WITH YOU
THE TIME HAS COME TO SAY NO MORE...
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
WHAT HAVE I DONE BUT PROMISE YOU?
THAT I’LL TAKE ALL OF YOUR PAIN
BE CERTAIN NOW, THERE IS NO WAY
I AM OF THE FAILING KIND
MY BODY BROKEN, LEFT BEHIND

I KNOW YOU SEE INTO MY SOUL
A BETTER SIDE TO HIDE THE SIN
MY LOVE IS TRUE, THIS IS NO LIE
YET THE DARKNESS WON’T LET GO ITS HOLD

I CANNOT BE YOUR SAVING GRACE
I’VE LOST MY WAY, JUST WATCH MY FACE
I AM OF THE FAILING KIND
BUT I KNOW LOVE THAT TURNS BACK TIME

I AM OF THE FAILING KIND

I AM NOTHING BUT A FAILURE
NOTHING BUT A WOUND SPLIT OPEN TWICE BEFORE
HAD YOU KNOWN WHERE I WAS GOING
WOULD YOU HAVE EVER TAKEN ME (COULD YOU SAY FOR SURE?)

Should I give up on this?
Would you give up on me?
A failure a drop out I’ve fallen behind.

The one who has given me back my life...
Has removed all of my failing brand of my design...
That held me chained and kept me blind...

Red Light, Green Light, or Yellow all the time? [What's the Truth?]

Written By: Jonathon

“Red Light, Green Light, or Yellow All the Time?”

I could write the word blue set
Into paper but written with black ink
But which color would hold meaning
Black or blue or red
Cause it’s all relative to you…So what’s the truth?

The foundation’s been broken
Objective truth has slipped through
The cracks that got started
As the lies you planted took root and grew

The lies have grown out of control
Blocking the sun out killing the light
And the world is being plunged into darkness
Leaving us with little of what’s left of our sight

We are being fed all their lies
A pill covered by a thin dark film
Holding in their true intent
Release a poison that could and will
Kill…all of us!!!

The foundation’s been broken
Objective truth has slipped through
The cracks that got started
As the lies you planted took root and grew

The lies have grown out of control
Blocking the sun out killing the light
And the world is being plunged into darkness
Leaving us with little of what’s left of our sight

Now all we have left is to take up the call
Stand up with the prophets and scream along
Call down the fire to tear is apart
Up with your fists and down with the dark.
Call down the fire to tear is apart
Up with your fists…DOWN WITH THE DARK!!!

Failing Kind

Written By: Dominic Bellasperanza/ Jon Trone

I stand silent here with you
The time has come to say no more
Actions speak louder than words
What have I done but promise you?

That i'll take all of you pain
Be certain now, there is no way
I am of the failing kind
My body broken left behind

I am of the failing kind...

(chorus)
I am nothing but a failure
Nothing but a wound split open twice before
Had you known where I was going
Would you have ever taken me?
Could you say for sure?

I know you see into my soul
A better side to hide the sin
My love is true, this is no lie
But the darkness won't let go it's hold

I cannot be you saving grace
I've lost my way, just watch my face
I am of the failing kind
But I know love that turns back time

I am of the failing kind...

(chorus)

Should I give up on this?
Would you give up on me?
A failure, a dropout, I've fallen behind
I've failed and fallen completely behind

The One who has given me back my life
Has removed the failing brand of my design...

Pinnacle of My Fall

Written By: Dominic Bellasperanza

When taken to the sky, destiny calling
Nobody's ever there to break my fall...

But I can see
What's left of myself
I have fallen before
This is not the first time

(chorus)
Where is My everything?
My strong shoulder
To keep me from jumping over?

My reflection set upon such precious beauty
But as it shatters at my gaze, I break down...

But I still see
What's left of myself
I have fallen before
This is not the first time

(chorus)

I have reached the pinnacle of my self-fascination
There are only deeper holes to fall into this time

This is not the first time
Will I put my trust in You?
This is not the first time
Will I find my strength in You?
Will I find You?

A Vantage Point of Emotion

Written By: Jonathon Trone

“A Vantage Point of Emotion”

Where have all the bleeding hearts gone
There are so few of us left now
All the wanna-be’s posing, pretending to be
How we live everyday with our hearts on our sleeves
Putting all of ourselves
Into every last shelf
Knowing that onto the next
Means one more of our best

Memoirs for remembering
All of those dreams
Laid next to a past
That amounted to nothing
And nothing meant something
Learned from and lived
Knowing they’ll keep taking
Cause they know who will give

Confessions of the bleeding hearted
After they’ve blood-let their minds
A shell of their former selves…wasting away
From when they gave everyday ‘til their hearts were just drained
And THEY put themselves
Onto that last shelf
So they can pass the torch on
To their daughters and sons

Memoirs for remembering
All of those dreams
Laid next to a past
That amounted to nothing
And nothing meant something
Learned from and lived
Knowing they’ll keep taking
Cause they know who will give

And pride will look back
And suffer itself
When it should’ve filled their minds
Yet they never had time
For the recognition
So richly deserved
When they went in, to save lives
And came out scarred and burned
