"Emergenza Battle of the Bands Review"

Friday, Otober 27
Lucretius kicked off Friday’s Emergenza shows with an excellently composed set. With their drummer on lead vocals and synchronized head banging these guys were a sight to see.
Failed System followed with guitar driven rock. They had an excellent rhythm section and strong lead vocals.
Wait For Yesterday had the audience on their toes with a rockin’ and flavorful set led by a female vocalist. With nice composition and an excellent use of dynamics this band easily moved to the next round of Emergenza.
The Age of Alchemy then took the stage by surprise with a great mix of screaming and singing and an excellent rhythm section. Zetus Deamos closed out Friday’s Emergenza event with an excellent introduction to their set, strong compositions and an overall great band.

"Emergenza quarter-finals Review"

Failed System is one of the best opening bands I’ve seen in this festival. They truly set the bar for all the other bands to strive for. Great energy with a hard rock/metal sound. Strong vocals, a good drummer and tight music really caught the ear of The Rave, but their stage presence and interaction with the crowd really set them apart. I would encourage them to be a little more diverse in their sound within the genre of hard rock and metal. Looking forward to their set in the semi-finals. - Emergenza
