Bio

Some things are better left as a mystery, yet the story behind the name Fair June is just as or even more interesting than how the band was established.

"We often get asked more questions about the name than anything else," laughs vocalist, Mike Mikosz. "And, I can assure you we'll be telling that story a thousand more times down the road."

Breaking ground in the "Windy City" of Chicago, Fair June has relied solely on word-of-mouth to build upon the hefty grassroots fan base they have acquired. With rhythmic melodies layered beneath compelling vocals, Fair June creates a mixture of musical harmonies, catching attention from all walks of life.

Having the experience of sharing the stage with artists such as Better Than Ezra, and being compared to top performers like Edwin McCain and Maroon 5, Fair June feels confident in building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with fans, while crossing that line in becoming a household name.

You can catch Fair June continuing their success by performing across the country in support of the much anticipated debut studio LP, "A Whisper Across A Wire;" which is scheduled for release in September 2006, followed by a string of tour dates.
