The Fairweathers

 Buffalo, New York, USA
BandRockBlues

Three Rough and Tumbles from the icy chasm known as Buffalo, New York. Mixtures of raucous sound and energy, but with the knowledge of melody that has escaped modern times. Their only wish is for you to hum one of their songs at work or at school.

Biography

After playing shows on the holy stage of the Cavern Club in Liverpool, The Boston Arms in London, Arlene's Grocery in New York, with their former band The Thermidors. Nick Mirco (guitar) and James Jamboree (drums) decided to start fresh. They called on the services of Matthieu Smallski, a former All-New York State Jazz bassist. Together they have conjured up a modern sound mixed with delightful melodies. Drawing from their influences such as The Beatles, The Clash, The Libertines, The Kinks, and The Ramones. The Fairweathers have constructed an addicting blend of nostalgic melody and modern-day punk aggression. They surely are a Buffalo band on the rise. -The Buffalo News 2011
