Fair Weather Watchers

Fair Weather Watchers is a project founded in 2010 by Ginger Hebert. The little lady has been writing and hoarding songs for years and has finally decided to set them free. Ginger was born and brought up in a small Texas oil refining town. Growing up she was forced to go on action-packed adventures to hear live music of any kind. Usually by way of a 2 hour car ride to Houston in the back of her mom’s mini van. Ginger pieced together a magical collective of musicians and has been living in Portland Oregon, making this music come to life. Fair Weather Watches is folk music in it’s most minimal form. Inspired by the passion of standard jazz vocalists, and finding community in the simplicity and mood of the experimental, Hebert’s style is more cultured by vulnerability and emotional growth than by actual training. Fair Weather Watchers will be released a collection of these delicate and moody tunes in early 2011, titled "Out Past the Garden" And are currently in the studio hard at work on their first EP, set to release early 2013!
