Bio
At the age of only 18 years. Joel Van Rensburg "Fake Identity" has certainly made a name for himself. Born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, he has introduced a fast paced style of DJ'ing. DJ'ing since the age of 13 and producing since the age of 17. He mixed twice on the Bay FM 'lunch box mix', performed at the 2018 Mixlab Legendary Silly Season, was a resident Deejay Legends st Francis Bay over new years 2018 and on new years 2017, he also played twice at Brubar (PE) and recently signed a deal to be a resident DJ for a new event called Techno Takeover! FAKE IDENTITY has certainly put in the work and benefitted from the outcome. His house music mixed with tech certainly has stood out from the rest. He is also going to further his knowledge by doing a 3 year degree in music production and engineering in Cape Town from 2020 onwards.
