Falaz

Falaz is an eclectic band born in Miami in 2004, but it was not until about a year later that FALAZ would find itself complete. The band consists of four individuals joined by their love for music, chicken, and each other: Vanessa Giraux (powerful, distinctive voice of Falaz) J. Dazza (lyrical genius, bass master, and guitar underachiever) Santiago Arroyo (delightful lead guitarist, stubborn and contemptous bastard) and finally Carlos Ventura ( who despite being the youngest of the band) plays the drums as few other drummers can. All the members of FALAZ come from different musical and cultural backgrounds (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras), which gives the songs a sense of originality, not too mention a beautiful third world twist, in which elements of Rock, Bolero, Metal, Bosanova, Cumbia and others can be heard. Some people say FALAZ is rock, some say punk, some say bad, many say good and many more love it for what it is; but no matter what rest assured that the music will always be sincere.
