FALKE was founded by Steve Hochheiser, Composer/Bassist from the Critically Acclaimed Metal Act DETENTE (Recognize No Authority, Decline). Teaming with Vocalist/Lyricist Jeff McLeod, a Veteran of the Southern Noise/Punk Scene (Bert), Drummer Terry Watkins, and Guitarist Caleb Quinn (DETENTE) the project seeks to push crossover past the traditional Metal and Punk influence to include more diverse musical elements. Listen to the Middle Eastern Influences and Metal Grind of Seeds, the Hardcore Metal of Human Condition, or the Doom of The Blood You Spill and you will see a band committed experiments. FALKE is adept at crafting solid and memorable songs with haunting vocals and lyrics with an emphasis on the failings of our species and very strong musicianship that utilizes layers and tempo to pull the listener in.
