Fallen Within

“So, what’s coming next,” asks a fan of Fallen Within singer/songwriter Derrick Brandon, to which he replies, “Bigger things than I could of imagined, even a year ago.”

After four years of playing around the mid-South area, Fallen Within was on the verge of losing everything they had built. With the parting of a few members, “I was ready to quit myself.” explains Derrick, “I was left to decide the bands fate.”

Picking up a locally known musician, Opie O’Quinn, and re-entering drummer Robbie Bryant , who was a previous member of Fallen Within in its earlier stages who helped build the unique sound that is Fallen Within. Derrick decided to bring Fallen Within to a new level. “We’re writing bigger and better songs than I have ever heard come from this band.” tells bass player Ed Clopp, “We are moving in a much stronger direction.”

Having a rejuvenated vigor and stronger lineup, Fallen Within began playing in the mid-South area once more. “The feedback has been great!” says guitar player/vocalist Opie O’Quinn, “I’ve never seen Fallen Within fans so excited.”

Fallen Within just finished working with engineer Leo Geoff and producers Cris Brown, Paul Crosby on their up-coming EP which will be releasing in late March of 2008. Its melodic riffs and powerful vocals are sure to move everyone who hears them. With songs like Presence, Get Up Get Out delivering Fallen Within’s signature rock sound, and songs like My Life and Untitled delivering their soft touch, this EP should please all fans of the band.

Fallen Within is also working on reconnecting with their fans through a series of shows designed to show the new, stronger, side of the band. With high energy performances, songs that capitalize on crowd involvement, and members that truly love the music they are making, the band finds its fan base is growing with each and every show.
