Falling For Sarah may be a relatively new band on the Orlando scene, but with stellar appearances like their recent one at The Social the band is well on their way to building a large following. The band, Mitch Herman (Lead Vocals and Guitar), Michael Strippoli (Guitar), Luke Forehand (Bass), and Sean Murtha (Drums), plays guitar driven rock/pop music with an alternative edge.
Their live show is impressive, with the shifting and merging vocal harmonies from Herman and Forehand, the twirling guitar antics from Strippoli, all topped off by Murtha’s hyper-aggressive drumming that leaves the stage littered with broken drumsticks. Their set included “Flyer 1” and “Catch Me” which can be found on their demo. They also played “Better Than Never” and “Not Close Enough” which have videos on YouTube. They closed their set with their song “Dead to Me” wrapped around Bush’s “Machine Head.”
The band has been together for just over a year and has already amassed some terrific credentials including gigs at some of Orlando’s prime venues and an appearance on Orlando Live. They are currently recording their debut CD, until that’s ready they have a four song demo available on iTunes. - Kat Coffin

Falling For Sarah has been lighting a fire throughout the Florida music scene. In just a few short months, Falling For Sarah has played throughout Florida and will be playing shows all the way up to Pennsylvania in November of 2009. They also played the Orlando, FL House of Blues in March of 2010 for a Haiti benefit concert
Falling For Sarah has moved from playing with national acts to becoming a national act in only four months. Their single “Better Than Never” and accompanying music video has been generating a substantial buzz across the internet with over 300 hits per day upon release.
Falling For Sarah has been having great success with their merchandise sales. Most notable has been their free sticker campaign. Falling For Sarah stickers have been shipped across the county, with more requests coming in daily. Fans of the band are springing up from London England to Los Angeles California. Keep an eye on this band as they continue to make progress throughout the world’s media outlets.
Falling For Sarah is currently in the process of recording their first full length album with grammy award winning engineers. The release of the full length album will be in 2011.
