Bio

FFA is a 4 piece alternative rock band from Peterborough, Ontario.
Ian Chapman is a guitarist and vocalist for the band. He plays both lead and rhythm guitar. Chapman has a deeper octave thus sings the lower and softer parts of the songs. Chapman’s playing style resembles that of Frank Iero from My Chemical Romance, and John Nolan from Taking Back Sunday. Chapman’s nickname is “Peein’”
Logan Charland is the drummer for the band. Charland is the comedic relief who kills every dull moment. He is a left-handed drummer that plays with a right-handed set up. Charland’s playing style resembles that of Travis Barker from Blink 182, Neil Peart from Rush and Keith Moon from The Who. Some of his nicknames are: “Loggie” and “Loggie Bear”
Kris Dickson is the bassist for the band. Dickson is the fashion statement sporting something new every show. From tutu to lion tuques, this guy will wear it all. Dickson’s playing style resembles that of Robbie Merrill from Godsmack and is inspired by John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin and Mic Todd from Coheed and Cambria. Dickson’s nickname is “Waldo”.
Ryan Stacey is a guitarist and vocalist for the band. He plays both lead and rhythm guitar for the band. Stacey has an octave that is used for higher, more powerful parts of songs and also compliments Chapman’s lower octave vocal style. His playing style resembles that of Tom Delonge from Blink 182 and Deryck Whibley from Sum 41. Stacey’s nickname is “Officer Stacey”.
On November 13th 2010, FFA has recorded, “Turbulence”, their own independent EP, and made their own FFA t-shirts to sell and give away at every show.
