"Falling Over Failure - Failure is Far From Failng"

(April 23, 2008)

Falling Over Failure was another one of those bands that jumped out at us because they got a good number of fans joining their mobile fan club the day they posted their Broadtexter widget. FOF it turns out is not only popular on Broadtexter.com but also on Myspace - consistently ranked through Myspace in the Top 10 bands in PA for pop punk, rock & alternative genres, and in the Top 100 for pop/punk bands internationally.

FOF is definitely a LIVE act but they manage to capture their raw energy on their recordings as well. It’s no wonder that FOF has been packing venues all across their home state of PA, including the famed Crocodile Rock Cafe where they have opened for such National artists like Cute Is What We Aim For, This Providence, All Time Love, Forever The Sickest KIds, Sound the Alarm, and Mayday Parade. Try to definitely check these guys out live! - Broadtexter Weekly (broadtexter.com)

"Falling Over Failure - Metromix Band of the Week"

A work in progress since 2004, Falling Over Failure has been working hard and getting around. The band’s catchy, fun, and slighty punky breed of pop-rock has helped the band share the stage with a slew of national artists, incuding This Providence, Cute is What We Aim For, I Am Ghost, and more. This summer, the band plans to tour through the northeast, with dates planned in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. Upon returning from touring, Falling Over Failure will return to the studio to demo their second album.

Upcoming Shows:
Jul 16: Croc Rock, Allentown, 8 p.m.
Jul 17: Alentown Brew Works, Allentown, 8:30 p.m.

If you could play any venue, where would it be?
DJ: I would pay the Superbowl. It’s huge and millions and millions of people watch it at once.
Mike: I’d say the VMAs.
Clay: I was going to say that!
Mike: Celebrities, women, and a lot of people watch it.
Gary: I just want to play sold out arenas constantly.

If your music were to be used in any movie, what would it fit with best?
Gary: “Transformers”!
DJ: I could see our music with Transformers busting people up.
Gary: It would be sick to have it in a musical type remake like “Mamma Mia” or something like that.
Mike: Something heroic.
Clay: I would pick a superhero movie. “Iron Man” or something like that.

If you could play back up for any band, or if you had to be a cover band for any band, which would you choose?
Clay: I’d do Boston. They’re really good.
Mike: Probably Creed.
Gary: I’d do a tribute band for Boston, but I’d probably back up Miley Cyrus.
DJ: I’d say the Beatles, but I’m not sure we’d have enough fun with that. Maybe GNR. That would be cool. But that would be impossible to play. He’s too good. If I had three more sets of arms, maybe I could do it. - Lehigh Valley Metromix - Katie Strzeszewski
