"To know that you do not know is the best." - Lao Tsu

Thoughtful Rebellion to both inflame and soothe your complex soul

Biography

Welcome to the Fall of Knowledge
(FoK)!

FoK is the brainchild of lead singer/songwriter and frontman Micah Zumar.

Combining Micahs soaring and passionate 5 octave vocals with stylistic influences ranging from prog, jazz, funk, rock, grunge, pop and metal, Scene Magazine labeled their particular brand of music, "Thoughtful Rebellion".

Elements from Muse, Audioslave, Radiohead, SOaD, Tool, Porcupine Tree and many others can be heard, depending on which
song you listen to.

2 Years ago FoK released their debut 5-song EP - Silent Majority, and was proud to have worked with Mike Turner (OLP, Crash Karma, Pocket Studios) and Adam Kasper (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana) during its creation.

Since then, many new songs have been written, changes have been made to the line-up, and new branding is on the way. Micah however, remains at the bow of the ship, and continues to steer FoK forward. Stay tuned for a new album soon!

Lemonade

Written By: Micah Zumar

sad eyes, I’ve lost today
the hours of shaking, finely put away
ooh once emotions faded
all the energy, settled down
I still felt it slippin away….

You won’t say hello, won’t even say hello to me
As if you didn’t know

My apprehensive eyes, no longer grey
the tremble in my voice, washed away
a taste so bittersweet, like lemonade, lemonade

Sad eyes, I’ve lost today
the hours I waste so you, would know, my name
ooh once emotions faded
I’m back to nothing I, feel at all
I remember it slippin away…

My apprehensive eyes, no longer grey
the tremble in my voice, washed away
a taste so bittersweet, like lemonade, lemonade

You won’t say hello, won’t even say hello to me
As if you don’t know
You won’t say hello, not even hello to me
As if you don’t know

My apprehensive eyes, no longer grey
the tremble in my voice, washed away
a taste so bittersweet, like lemonade, lemonade

Don’t you love me
Don’t you love me at all
Don’t you need me
Don’t you need me at all

The Door

Written By: Micah Zumar

Let me come to the places, that help you hide
complacent and degrading, your thoughts inside
let me complicate your life, and set you free
all your cages are fading, in the night

I will open up your eyes
send shivers up and down your spine
give you one then so many more come by design
just tell me once that you are mine

Consuming and amazing, the moments of your life
I will not be replacing, what's dead inside
we can build a stronger road, in the depths of your mind
i can find my way there, but

I can't open up the door
that someone else broke down before
if its time you need to lift, off the floor
until then i'm sitting by the door

[instr]

and all i'm saying is....I can't open up the door
that someone else broke down before
if its time you need to lift, off the floor
until then i'm sitting by your door (2)

but don't leave me here, for long, standing still
its just a matter of time alone, til i choke down your pill
then your spell won't work... anymore
still i'm here, by your door

Here, by the door (2)
