“Fall of Knowledge has a nice mix of emotion in their vocals with a progressive rock sound. The band is tight with catchy hooks, and musically is very talented. The most important aspects to keep in mind when writing a song is:
1) Will listeners be able to relate to the song, and
2) Does it have memorable hooks that people can hum too.
These hooks can be both vocally, or musically. Fall of Knowledge uses both these techniques with unique vocals backed by a solid beat and rockin guitar.”

“I liked that the singer has a distinctive voice that makes it easier to identify the song with this band. The vocals were delivered with passion and the dynamic changes were appropriate for the emotion of the lyrics and music. I thought the song-writing was quite good, in that the verses and choruses naturally flowed into each other, and there was a nice refrain for the listener to grab onto. Overall, this song is professional and the band is obviously talented. Keep up the great work!”

Genre – Alt-Rock
Montreal, QC based alt-rock band, Fall of Knowledge released a five track EP entitled Silent Majority on November 23, 2015. The band worked with Mike Turner (OLP, Crash Karma) and Adam Kasper (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam) on this EP.
The EP starts with “Lemonade” which pulled me in right away, and I really enjoyed the vocals on this track. The song consists of a very gruff, rock sound with a beat that quickly attracted me to the song. As the EP continues, we hear a slightly different side of the band with “The Door” and “Anonymous” which are slower and showcase the vocals even more. It’s clear that this band possesses talent, and can easily switch between variations of rock, whether it be alt rock or soft rock.
Keep an eye out for more from Fall of Knowledge, because I can tell you now that they are definitely a talented up & coming band, and you will see more of them on Canadian Beats. - Canadian Beats

Bio
Welcome to the Fall of Knowledge
(FoK)!
FoK is the brainchild of lead singer/songwriter and frontman Micah Zumar.
Combining Micahs soaring and passionate 5 octave vocals with stylistic influences ranging from prog, jazz, funk, rock, grunge, pop and metal, Scene Magazine labeled their particular brand of music, "Thoughtful Rebellion".
Elements from Muse, Audioslave, Radiohead, SOaD, Tool, Porcupine Tree and many others can be heard, depending on which
song you listen to.
2 Years ago FoK released their debut 5-song EP - Silent Majority, and was proud to have worked with Mike Turner (OLP, Crash Karma, Pocket Studios) and Adam Kasper (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana) during its creation.
Since then, many new songs have been written, changes have been made to the line-up, and new branding is on the way. Micah however, remains at the bow of the ship, and continues to steer FoK forward. Stay tuned for a new album soon!
