Bio

FallTown used to be a band...and it still sort of is. It's also become the solo project for singer/songwriter Scott Lester. Currently, Scott is being backed up by the baddest musicians he knows (guitarist Mike Waddell, bassist Sean Paul (no not that Sean Paul), and drummer Jay DeWitt), a collective three known as Choosing Hands. The guys would like for everyone to know that they are not weird, bummed out, abused, depressed, or apathetic loser, musician types. In fact, they want to play their songs for as many people possible and be on the cover of every magazine. "Why" you ask? Cuz they think it'd be pretty cool.

In the words of Jay: "Who cares about the story...have a beer and listen".

Bred on a healthy diet of rock, pop and alternative music, FallTown puts out the kind of back flipping/knee buckling power pop you just don't hear anymore, and does it with gusto.

Like their heroes, the now-defunct Marvelous 3, FallTown really just enjoy music for what it is, and not getting suckered into only accepting one particular style.

Currently working on their debut album, FallTown intend to make the world safe again for vigorous pop bands hungry for some good ol' fashioned stardom. Lester is in the studio with producer Scott Spelbring, along with the members of Choosing Hands as more than just "session musicians", working towards a mid-to-late 2007 release date. Comments Lester, "These guys are fantastic to work with, and I can't wait for you to hear these new tunes live... working with these musicians who're also my friends breathes an amazing new life into the music".

As of yet untitled, the new record hopes to solidify the public belief in FallTown's abilities as a band and just might make you tap your foot or bob your head a little.

This band isn't out to change the world, just to rule it.
